Commencez ce parcours \u00e0 Cessenon-sur-Orb, un pittoresque village m\u00e9di\u00e9val entour\u00e9 par la rivi\u00e8re Orb et les montagnes. N’oubliez pas d’explorer son \u00e9glise du 12e si\u00e8cle, ses fortifications, son donjon de 13 m de haut et sa fontaine. Depuis le pont, admirez la rivi\u00e8re et la tour carr\u00e9e du village au sommet d’un rocher. Depuis Prades, vous entamez une mont\u00e9e douce d’environ 5 km, serpentant \u00e0 travers les vignobles avec, au loin, les premi\u00e8res pentes du Haut-Languedoc. Une fois que vous atteignez le col de la Pierre Blanche, vers le kilom\u00e8tre 10, vous pouvez emprunter un chemin rocheux qui m\u00e8ne aux tables d’orientation. Situ\u00e9es au milieu des vignes, ces quatre tables offrent une vue unique sur le massif du Caroux, qui ressemble de loin \u00e0 une femme allong\u00e9e. Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 ces tables, vous pourrez percer les secrets des paysages, des sols et de l’environnement g\u00e9ologique de la r\u00e9gion. Enfin, vous atteindrez Berlou, un village tranquille connu pour ses excellents vins AOC Saint-Chinian Berlou. La route vallonn\u00e9e de Berlou \u00e0 Vieussan serpente \u00e0 travers de magnifiques paysages sauvages. Apr\u00e8s une mont\u00e9e de 3 km au Col de Merly, vous descendrez \u00e0 Escagn\u00e8s avant une nouvelle mont\u00e9e de 3 km \u00e0 M\u00e9zelles et enfin une longue descente jusqu’aux rives de l’Orb \u00e0 Vieussan. La vue depuis la route est \u00e9poustouflante ! Ce village du 12\u00e8me si\u00e8cle, perch\u00e9 dans une vall\u00e9e encaiss\u00e9e, est riche en histoire, avec notamment un donjon de ch\u00e2teau et de nombreux b\u00e2timents en pierre. Depuis Vieussan, suivez la rivi\u00e8re Orb le long de la D14. Passez par la tour du Pin et le pont romain du XIIe si\u00e8cle pour une belle vue sur la vall\u00e9e de l’Orb. Continuez sur 9 km jusqu’\u00e0 Roquebrun<\/a>, surnomm\u00e9e ” la petite Nice ” pour ses palmiers, ses maisons de couleur ocre et l’abondance d’agrumes et de mimosas. Prenez ensuite la D19 sur 5 km jusqu’au petit hameau d’Escougoussou, avant de prendre la D136 vers Cessenon-sur-Orb.
